习太极拳程序

初学拳时,少理论。但听先生所教,首须不用力,全身放松软。每日学一两式,不可过多。三个月后,可以学完全套。再三个月,练习与校正姿势。姿势正确八九成时,可作为个人健身运动,如怀健身之宝。

如愿再进一步,再学三个月,学转动路线及太极之意义。再三个月,学太极拳之劲气。开始窥视太极拳门径。期约一年,然非高明老师教授,不能达到目的。

学拳六个月后就可学推手初步练习。第一个月亦是不用力,先学两人粘黏打圈。第二个月,学掤捋挤按四个方法。第三个月学化劲,先学肘化,次学腰化,再学两肩化,更要有柔软圆滑,然后学随机应变全身化。后再三个月,学掤捋挤按之用法,然后再学连化劲带打法。

以上为期一年,以后有暇可并学太极剑。如肯用功,再加半年,共为期年半,拳剑推手三样皆熟,略有本领,身体健康矣,此算一小乘。

再续用功一年半,在此期内,可学太极枪,学推手以外各种手法。此期间内,加紧实地练习,为期共约三年。拳剑枪各用法皆熟,健身防身自卫皆可,有大本领。本身有拳,兵刃短有剑,长有枪,其功夫足供一生练习矣,此可称为中乘。

三年后,练拳法又不同,要聚精会神,苦心求高明老师传授,炼精化气、炼气化神、炼神还虚,陞入上乘门径。

太极拳分三乘,推手大圈为初乘,学化小圈为中乘,连化带打无圈为上乘。无圈之中有圈,专打不化,打中又有化。就是大圈套小圈,小圈变无圈。此即无极生太极,阴阳八卦五行,千变万化而归一,得上乘之功,天下无敌矣。为期若干年,则不能预定,须视个人天份聪明与用功程度矣。本来学艺无止境,然肯下功夫者,无论如何,必一日技精一日。学者须耐心练拳。达到神化境界,非难事也。
