1、基本功蹲步摩鱼式,双脚要动,力点要沿脚的外缘从后到前变化,并且左右脚的变化要相对,右脚脚尖起来,左脚就要脚跟起来,反之也亦然。这样可以锻炼开腰胯。动作时,尽量下蹲,动作结束时,要感觉头被拎起来,顺势起立。

2、基本功左右插步,人微蹲,左右脚尽量外翻(脚跟向前,脚尖向后),脚轮流落地于身前中线上,尽量提臀、上身不动,不可左右上下前后晃动,意念直接随脚落到地底,可锻炼脚步下沉和虚实变换。

3、揽雀尾后有一个过渡动作,转身270度左下按,方向是左前45度,左脚点地,要有脚跟上收、脚尖内扣之意,左膝盖要弯成约90度,眼睛看左下方,要体会右手推、左手拉,左脚使绊的用意。虚实上以后脚为主要实腿。

4、舞龙灯前有一个过渡动作,前下按,要求人扑上去,但落脚时,要有虚实变化,右脚收拢的同时,重心从左脚移到右脚,不能两个脚都是实脚,要有虚实转换;然后右转做单鞭时,重心再从右脚转移到左脚,然后提腿。

5、准备式,升降辘轳,意不要断,降到底的时候,不要一屁股就蹲下去,整个都坐了下去,感觉不到要升,想像跳弹簧床,总有个拎起来的感觉。

6、单鞭等动作,脚不要太直,膝盖略弯曲;按,腿坐下去,但腰要拎起,关键是前腿拔,胯与大腿根折转身180,左脚尖要能拧住,这样才能将对手带动。重心先踩到前脚,撇脚,然后白鹤晾翅,脚尖内扣,有踩烟头的感觉才对。

7、提手上式,脚跟落地,脚尖内扣;

8、揉膝坳步,挒时,要向前,重心大致在前脚,后脚可以踢;要眼神带动,手不要太僵硬,放松,不要把意关注到手上。
