This summer at our DDA Taiji workshops in Devon and Dursley, we enjoyed some wonderful moments sharing our mutual love of Taiji and traditional Chinese culture with a great turnout of enthusiastic Taiji players, teachers and friends.

It was delightful to see so many old friends again, (including our old student and friend Sally Webb), as well as meet new students joining for the first time.

This year, participants learned a mixture of Qigong, including the 5 Animal Play Qigong set and medical massage Qigong; as well as foundation exercises; Dantian training; Tongbei single movement drills and walking line drills; TCM tuina massage techniques; and push hands.

Thank you to Kath Revell (and her husband Piers) for all her hard work and support in organizing everything in Downderry, Cornwall, as well as Neil Garland for attending with some of his students.

And a big thank you to Mark Collins of the Cotswold Taiji Association, and his family for all their hard work and support in organizing everything again in Dursley; their hospitality and friendship is always very much appreciated.

Thank you to Danny Fajardo and Pete Polanyk, and the Honor Oak Taiji Group for organizing everything in relation to our London workshop; hopefully next year we can make things work even better!

I can see how much progress everyone has made in everyone’s training and how diligently everybody keeps up their practice throughout the year. Thanks to everyone for their support for DDA’s workshops this summer; we’re looking forward to seeing everyone in 2020!
